The LED Dimmer was developed to control 2 LED circuits in the "constant current" operating mode. This makes it possible to control the brightness of the LEDs between 0 and 100% absolutely flicker-free with a dimming resolution of 16 bit (internal resolution in ISYGLT operation). The LED Dimmer can be set from speed calculation to absolute time calculation by parameterisation per channel. With this, all imaginable control tasks, from individual light dimming to the use for complex light and colour scenarios, can be easily implemented.
When dimming LEDs, depending on the dimming frequency, very low humming noises may occur. These are exceeded in everyday life by ambient noises such as PCs, electrical appliances, fans, conversations, etc. many times over and are therefore not audible. However, there are also very noise-sensitive areas such as museums, galleries, churches, etc. and there are people who can still perceive these minimal noises. The LED Dimmer LED-02E-DMX16-700-V2 was specially developed for these applications. Due to the special selection and use of the highest quality components, the noise emission could be reduced to a level that is (for us) no longer perceptible.
The LED Dimmer can optionally be operated on the ISYGLT BUS or DMX512 BUS.
The regular DMX GND connector on PIN 1 is not required and therefore not connected.
The following functions can be performed independently by the LED Dimmer:
Function DMX 16 bit
This dimmer was developed for a high DMX dimming resolution. The 16 bit dimming divides the dimming into 65535 steps. A Master Controller can be activated or deactivated for the two LED dimming outputs via parameter setup (default is "active").
The channels are then assigned as follows (Example: DMX start address 1):
