ISYwireless Solutions
ISYwireless is the perfect completion to the proven ISYGLT for bridging distances where no BUS cable is possible.
DALI components and EnOcean devices from a wide range of manufacturers can be easily linked via the ISYGLT BUS System and fully integrated into the system. This also makes wireless control of ISYGLT dimming actuators very easy.
The "green" EnOcean radio technology based on 868 MHz radio is used. This is characterised as particularly failure-free and energy-saving. The ranges of approx. 30m are absolutely sufficient for most applications. Otherwise, the gateways also work as repeaters in mesh technology. Due to the low energy consumption and the transmission of protocols only when really necessary, the technology can be described as absolutely "green" in terms of saving resources, health and interference emission.
ISYwireless Solutions and EnOcean
EnOcean Gateway
With the EnOcean Gateway a large number of standard EnOcean components from different manufacturers can be integrated into the ISYGLT System. These components can be used without compromise through the free ISYGLT programming for intelligent building automation.
Setup of the ISYwireless Solutions
Basis
The system always consists of one or more base stations on the ISYGLT Subnet BUS (master module) and one or more participants that output ISYGLT or DALI or are direct EnOcean sensors or actuators.
Base Stations
There are 2 variants available:
- ISYGLT GW-EnOcean-08: Works with the standard EnOcean protocol and can communicate with ISYGLT gateways and EnOcean components.
- ISYGLT GW-ISYwireless-20: This is a proprietary protocol based on EnOcean. It was developed for special applications such as façade control. Only ISYwireless-DALI-01 and ISYwireless-ISYGLT-01 can be integrated with it.
Client Devices
the client devices represent the opposite side of the base station. These are e.g. gateways EnOcean to DALI or the EnOcean components themselves.
Each base station or client device (except some EnOcean actuators and sensors) can be used as a repeater. This allows a mesh network to be set up and communication to be ensured even under difficult conditions.
Overview
EnOcean
1st option: wireless control of DALI luminaires via EnOcean
The ISYGLT GW-EnOcean-08 is the base station. Each base station can control 8 ISYGLT EnOcean-DALI-01 Gateways . This means that 64 DALI ECGs can be controlled in 4 groups each. The DALI modes for DT8 or DT6 can be set by parameter. An external DALI power supply is required.
2nd option: wireless control of ISYGLT Dimmer
The client device EnOcean-ISYGLT-01 receives dimming values and fade times via radio and uses them to control ISYGLT Dimmers and 4-way I/O modules. Each GW-EnOcean-08 can control 4 devices with 4 different dimming values.
3rd option: integrate EnOcean standard actuators and sensors
Of course a good selection of EnOcean components from other manufacturers can also be integrated into the GW-EnOcean-08. Up to 30 actuators/sensors are possible per gateway.
2nd option: controlling ISYGLT Modules wirelessly via the ISYwireless protocol
With the ISYwireless-ISYGLT-01 the following ISYGLT Protocols can be transmitted wirelessly: DIM2 (UD-700-X2), DA400, IO88 (8-way I/O modules). For special applications that cannot be solved by the EnOcean protocol.
