The DALI-16B-2X module is used to control electronic ballasts for LEDs that communicate using the DALI protocol. Up to 64 DALI ECGs (electronic ballasts) can be operated on each of the two DALI lines. Each of these 64 DALI devices must be programmed with a unique device address (DALI short address). Each device address can be assigned one of 16 ISYGLT dimming groups by parameterising the DALI-16B-2X module. These dimming groups are controlled directly in the ISYGLT system via value variables (flags).
The module is equipped with its own mains supply. This enables a freely configurable emergency function for the corresponding DALI BUS. All DALI output devices are fully integrated into the possibilities of the ISYGLT system thanks to our concept. This means that the full range of functions of the ISYGLT system is available.
The module occupies 2 module addresses on the BUS.
With the DALI modules of the DALI-16B-2X series, a new DALI gateway concept has been realised that offers many more possibilities.
