The ER-01U-G1 Single-Room Controller ensures temperature management for a wide range of room requirements. Economic energy utilisation of radiator heating systems and underfloor heating is achieved by demand-oriented control for each room. The communication-capable controllers can be easily integrated into higher-level ISYGLT-BUS systems for building automation. The controller is programmed and configured very conveniently using our programming software ProgramDesigner (from version 3.40.3). In the communication network with the primary system, the controllers ensure that only as much energy as necessary is processed.
Heating radiators, cooling ceilings etc. are controlled by thermal, magnetic or electromotive actuators. The logical links, e.g. with presence sensors, window contacts, higher-level energy cut-off by the house technician or by time switching, are implemented in the Master Module of the ISYGLT BUS system.
The operating button is used for manual control of the desired operating mode. The current operating mode is indicated by LEDs.

Single-Room Temperature Controller ON/OFF (energy lockout via the ISYGLT-BUS system)
The energy lockout is used to switch the controller to the energy-saving mode in the event of prolonged absence. Only as much energy is consumed to maintain the target temperature for frost protection. The setpoint temperature for frost protection can be freely parameterised. The "energy lockout" mode is signalled by the fact that all LEDs on the room controller are dark.
ON: All operating modes adjustable
OFF: All LEDs are dark. Setpoint temperature corresponds to setting for frost protection (freely parameterisable)
Day mode
In the "Day mode" operating mode, the setpoint temperatures for HEATING and COOLING are active in each case. A further subdivision into "Present", "Absent" and "Remote operation" is possible. The setpoint temperature for "Day mode and present" (comfort setpoint temperature) and "Day mode and absent" (day setpoint value) can be freely parameterised. In remote operation, the target temperature can be optionally set for each room via the ISYGLT-BUS system using the "RAUMREG" command.
Night mode
In the "Night mode" operating mode, the set temperatures for HEATING and COOLING are active. A further subdivision into "Present", "Absent" and "Remote operation" is possible. The setpoint temperature for "Night mode and Present" (comfort setpoint temperature) and "Night mode and Absent" (night setpoint value) can be freely parameterised. In remote operation, the target temperature can optionally be set for each room via the ISYGLT-BUS system using the RAUMREG command.
Frost protection
The "Frost protection" operating mode is active when the individual room temperature controller is switched off via the ISYGLT-BUS system, the window contact is active, or a room temperature is detected that is lower than the set "Frost protection" setpoint. The temperature for "Frost protection" can be freely parameterised.
Dew point alarm
The dew point alarm is only effective in conjunction with the "Cooling" operating mode. It is activated by a dew point sensor on the ISYGLT-BUS system.
Remote mode
The room temperature controllers can be selected via the ISYGLT-BUS system. The ACTUAL temperature can be called up via the ISYGLT-BUS system, the SET temperature specified and the control signal for the valve specified by the room temperature controller. On request, all functions of the room temperature controller can be called up and controlled via the ISYGLT-BUS system.
Comfort button on the intelligent unitary controller
The button controls the change between "Comfort temperature" and "Day or night mode". Each new button press cancels the previous status. This gives the room user the option of choosing between two different setpoint temperatures. The target temperatures can be freely parameterised for both operating modes. If the ISYGLT-BUS system is switched to night mode during the "Day and Present" operating mode (comfort temperature), the controller switches to the "Night and Absent" operating mode. If the ISYGLT-BUS system changes back to the "Day" operating mode, the controller remains in the "Absent" operating mode. The button can be locked to prevent tampering. This can be done permanently or only at certain times via the ISYGLT-BUS system. The operating modes can be set from the ISYGLT-BUS system via the BUS and can be confirmed. It is possible to set an operating mode via the ISYGLT-BUS system and then to lock the button in order to prevent manipulation, e.g. in schools etc. It is also possible to switch a room to another operating mode via the ISYGLT-BUS system and then leave the rest of the process to the room user via the button on the controller. The function is freely programmable and can be adapted to individual requirements.
The function of the comfort button depends on the operating mode:
Day mode and presence sensor locked:
Change between operating mode "Present" and "Absent" (change between two freely parameterisable set temperatures)
Control via the ISYGLT-BUS system:
From "Day mode+Absent" to "Night mode+Absent"
From "Night mode+Absent" to "Day mode+Absent"
Night mode and presence sensor locked:
The presence button has a veto function. Press to toggle between "Absent" and "Present" (1...255min). The controller then automatically returns to "Absent". The veto function can be repeated as often as required.
Control via the ISYGLT BUS system:
From "Day mode+Absent" to "Night mode+Absent"
From "Night mode+Absent" to "Day mode+Absent"
Day mode and presence sensor enabled:
Change between "Present" and "Absent".
Presence detector activates the "Present" operating mode when "Absent" is selected. When leaving the room and pressing the presence button, the presence detector is blocked for 1...255sec in order not to reactivate the "Present" operating mode.
Control via the ISYGLT BUS system:
From "Day mode+Absent" to "Night mode+Absent"
From "Night mode+Absent" to "Day mode+Absent"
Night mode and presence sensor enabled:
Change between "Present" and "Absent".
Presence detector activates the "Present" operating mode when "Absent" is selected. After the parameterizable time of 1...255min has elapsed, the system automatically switches to the "Absent" operating mode (retriggerable).
Control via the ISYGLT BUS system:
From "Day mode+Absent" to "Night mode+Absent"
From "Night mode+Absent" to "Day mode+Absent"

Parameterisation with ProgramDesigner
In the ISYGLT ProgramDesigner there are further parameterisation possibilities:
- Target temperatures (Day/Night/Comfort)
- Protective temperature
- Compensation
- Valve control
- Times
- Special features
One of the following functions can be output at the digital output (ER-01U-G1D) by parameterisation:
- Digital output from Master
- Output for radiator heater
- Output for underfloor heating
- Output for cooling unit
- Load capacity: max. Ub-1V 300mA continuous load
Setpoint Slider
Using the rotary knob on the front panel, the setpoint can be changed by ±0-3K (parameterisable) in the "Day", "Night" and "Comfort" operating modes.
In the operating modes "Energy lockout" and "Remote mode", the setpoint slide valve is not taken into account. This ensures that the frost protection temperature cannot be reduced. Furthermore, it is ensured that the setpoint specified by the ISYGLT-BUS system is also approached. (The ISYGLT-BUS system does not know the position of the setpoint slider.)
Temperature Correction
A calibrated semiconductor sensor is used as the temperature sensor. If the room controller is installed at a location that does not have the same temperature as the occupied zone, the setpoint can be adjusted again using the parameterisation software (ProgramDesigner). Thus temperature gradients in the room can be compensated.
