Light Sensor LS-03

The calibrateable Light Sensor for the ISYGLT system can be used as an outdoor Light Sensor, twilight switch or as a luxmeter for indoor monitoring and control.

Quick Facts

  1. Precise Light Sensor
  2. Luxmeter (V-Lambda)
  3. For daylight control with direct measurement
  4. As twilight sensor for blind control
  5. For recording measured values for research purposes

Digital Light Sensor LS-03 for brightness measurement. Applications range from simple brightness measurement in rooms to sophisticated museums and galleries. In these objects, the brightness can be measured exactly at their position (e.g. next to a painting on the wall) to protect exhibits and the light intensity in the room can be maintained according to specifications.

It is also possible to record measured values (in conjunction with IPMS visualization). The measured spectrum corresponds to the standardized V-lambda curve (λ) in lux. The sensor can be individually adapted to the conditions on site by extensive parameter settings. Transmission to the Master is done with 1 to 4 digital 8/16 bit values. Due to its small dimensions, the LS-03 can be placed very unobtrusively.

DIP switch

8-pole DIP switch for setting the ISYGLT BUS address (0-127) is located on the rear of the module.

Function Indicators (LEDs on the Module)

LEDDesignationStateMeaning
redPowerOffNo operating voltage
OnOperating voltage, no error
yellowBUSOffBUS wiring error
OnError BUS communication (address)
blinkingInterference-free data transmission

The function indicators are intended for commissioning and service purposes and should be switched off by parameter during regular operation. Deactivation takes place via the parameters in the ProgramDesigner.

Parameterisation with ProgramDesigner

In the ISYGLT ProgramDesigner you will find the parameterisation options:

  • Sensitivity and filtering
  • Deactivate function LEDs
  • Associate measured values to byte or word
  • Curves for calibration
  • Submission RAW value

Pin Assignment

4-pole wire for the subnet (BUS A and B, RS-485) and the operating voltage (Ub, 0V)

Ub Operating voltage RJ10 Pin 4 (green)
0V Operating voltage RJ10 Pin 3 (brown)
A Subnet (BUS A, RS-485) RJ10 Pin 2 (white)
B Subnet (BUS B, RS-485) RJ10 Pin 1 (yellow)

(By default a 20cm wire with RJ10 is soldered on. Other lengths, connection options or cable types on request.)

Additional Equipment

  • Different wire types and lengths pre-assembled
  • Terminal box

Variants
