The WATCH-DOG Module is used to monitor the ISYGLT subnet. An application case is switching to an emergency operating level when errors are detected in the BUS or the Power Supply. Short-circuits and interruptions of the BUS line or a failed Master Module can be detected with the module. This module can be used to switch redundant BUS segments to a second Master Module, for example, or to control corresponding emergency operation relays in sub-distribution boxes in the event of failure/emergency. The time until the output is activated when an error is detected can be adjusted via parameter setting. A test function is also available in BUS operation.
